藿香 '杏色精靈'

The tubular apricot-orange flowers have been nonstop since early summer, and the plant shrugs off our salty breeze without any fuss. Even in mediocre soil it's pushing out new spikes every week, which is more than I can say for most perennials I've tried here.

The apricot-orange spikes really do blaze in the afternoon sun, and they’ve been blooming nonstop since early June. Even after a few salty fog days, the plants look completely unfazed.

Planted these in my coastal garden last spring and they’re still pumping out those tubular apricot-orange blooms well into fall. The hardy nature really shows—they handled the salt spray and sandy soil without any fuss.
