Category: Plants

Used to make Mate, the most popular caffeine based drink in South America, the leaves are dried and used as tea. Consumed at any time of day, and traditionally in groups where sharing and community are paramount, it's not unusual for people to share a brew from their very own gourd cup complete with metal straw. Yerba Mate is very rich in both essential vitamins and minerals.

Olivia ★★★★★

The leaves have a wonderfully earthy aroma that steeps into a smooth, focused energy without the jitters. It’s become my go-to for afternoon work sessions when I need something gentler than coffee.

Elizabeth R. ★★★★★

I’ve been drinking this mate every afternoon, and the dried leaves keep their earthy flavor through several refills. It’s nice that you can brew it alone or pass the gourd around when friends come over.

Evelyn X. ★★★★★

The leaves have a nice full texture that holds up well through multiple refills, and the gentle caffeine lift feels smoother than coffee. I've been drinking it solo in the mornings, but it’s nice knowing this was meant for sharing with friends.
