Sean’s Yellow Dwarf is a regular-leaf dwarf tomato that produces generous crops of smooth, medium-sized, oblate, bright-yellow fruit with pale yellow, juicy flesh and a refreshing, delicious flavour. Its sturdy, compact growth makes it an excellent choice for smaller gardens, raised beds and large containers, while still delivering the rich eating quality expected from an heirloom tomato.

Developed between 2006 and 2013, Sean’s Yellow Dwarf originated from a cross between ‘Budai Torpe’ and ‘Cherokee Green’, made by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia in 2006. The variety was then refined through the collaborative efforts of Dwarf Tomato Project members, with Lee Newman naming it after his friend Sean, in whose garden the promising plant was first discovered.

Samuel ★★★★★

The smooth, bright-yellow skin is really striking in the garden, and the pale yellow flesh inside was surprisingly juicy. We’ve been slicing them into salads for a week now and the flavor is just refreshing and delicious.

Lucy N. ★★★★★

I wasn't sure about a yellow tomato, but the first one I picked was juicy and had a really refreshing, mild flavor that surprised me. The fruit came out smooth and oblate, just as described, and the plants handled my erratic watering schedule without any trouble.

Chloe V. ★★★★★

The dwarf plants are surprisingly compact for how many bright-yellow fruits they produce. Each tomato has that pale yellow, juicy flesh inside and the flavor is refreshing, just as described. I’m already planning to save seeds from this batch.
