Eva R. ★★★★★

The story behind this pear—being an heirloom from Belgium discovered by a Major Esperen—adds so much character to the fruit. It has a wonderfully rich, sweet flavor that made me feel like I was tasting history.

Daniel L. ★★★★★

I wanted to try an heirloom pear variety, and 'Josephine de Malines' exceeded expectations—the history behind its name from Belgium adds a nice touch. The fruit was incredibly sweet and juicy.

Ryan X. ★★★★★

Fruit was perfectly formed and the flavor is exactly what I hoped for from an old heirloom—sweet with a subtle spice note. The tree settled in quickly and already has new growth after just a few weeks.
