Category: Plants

An ornamental oregano with deep purple bracts topped with pinky-mauve flowers in delicate sprays above the dark green foliage in spring to summer. A tough and dry-tolerant performer, Rosenkuppel is a colourful and low maintenance edging or front of border plant, not only for its rich showy flowers, but for its semi-evergreen mat-forming foliage that turns burgundy during cold weather to extend interest and contrast. Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.

Scarlett ★★★★★

I've been watching these upright sprays of pinky-mauve unfold for two weeks now, and the contrast against the dark green leaves is even better than the photos. The deep purple bracts add a really nice ornamental touch that keeps it interesting between bloom cycles.

Thomas V. ★★★★★

Planted these in a dry, sunny spot where other herbs struggled, and they're thriving with zero fuss. The delicate pinky-mauve flower sprays add such a soft, unexpected pop of color among the darker leaves.

Emily ★★★★★

Planted it in a dry, sunny spot and it's thriving with almost no extra watering. The deep purple bracts against the dark green leaves look fantastic, and the delicate pinky-mauve flowers are just starting to open.
