Not only are the flowers constructed from intensely magenta purple velvet, the foliage is crinkled sage-grey on one side and cotton wool on the other. A garden winner with both excellent flower and foliage characteristics, this tough salvia performs for months in the garden.

Abigail I. ★★★★★

The magenta purple velvet flowers are so vividly colored they almost look unreal in the garden. The contrast between the fuzzy grey and soft white sides of the leaves adds such interesting texture.

Harper G. ★★★★★

The crinkled sage-grey leaves have an almost fuzzy texture that's surprisingly soft to the touch. This plant adds such a unique pop of color and texture to my garden bed.

Christopher ★★★★★

The intense magenta purple of the velvet flowers is so vibrant it catches light differently throughout the day. My plant arrived healthy and the crinkled sage-grey leaves feel incredibly soft, like cotton wool on the underside. It's already a standout in my garden bed.
