Larkspur 'Earl Grey' is popular with florists as both a fresh or dried flower. To dry, allow the top 3-4 flowers to open before hanging upside down away from direct sunlight. To maximise life as a fresh flower, cut when the bottom third of the flower stem is open. This will allow you to enjoy the top two-thirds inside as they mature. Please note: all parts of this plant, including the seed, are poisonous. Care should be taken around children and pets.

Victoria V. ★★★★★

The top flowers opened just as described, and I'm thrilled with how easily they dried while keeping their shape. Cut a few stems early for fresh arrangements and the rest for drying later in the season.

Ryan ★★★★★

The drying instructions were spot-on—waiting for those top three or four blooms before hanging them upside down gave me perfectly preserved stems for my arrangement. They held their greyish-blue color beautifully and added a soft, airy texture to the dried bouquet.

Adam ★★★★★

Planted these in early spring and they're already sending up sturdy stems. I love that you can cut them for fresh bouquets or let a few blooms open and then hang them to dry for winter arrangements.
