Lonicera japonica 'Halliana', commonly known as Hall's Japanese Honeysuckle, is a vigorous, evergreen climber grown for its profusion of highly fragrant, tubular flowers. Flowers appear from late spring through summer. The plant's dense, dark green foliage provides year-round interest in milder climates. 'Halliana' thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to a variety of soil types, provided they are moist and well-drained. Its rapid growth makes it ideal for covering fences, trellises, or pergolas. Prune regularly after flowering to manage its spread and maintain the desired shape. Check as it can be a weed in some areas if it escapes from your garden.

Riley ★★★★★

Planted this against a trellis in early spring and it's already climbing like crazy. The tubular flowers started blooming a few weeks ago and the sweet scent drifts across the entire patio.

George R. ★★★★★

The fragrance from just a few of these tubular flowers is incredible—it fills my whole patio in the evenings. I was worried it wouldn't survive the winter here, but this climber is proving to be as vigorous and evergreen as advertised.

Nicholas D. ★★★★★

Planted this against a trellis in early spring and it's already covering the whole thing with dense green foliage. The flowers started blooming in late spring just as described, and the scent hits you the second you step outside.
