A true heirloom treasure with a remarkable story. This Greek tomato arrived in Australia by boat over 40 years ago, carried by a neighbour who brought seeds from his homeland. Gifted with a touch of secrecy - he believed sharing would bring bad luck. This variety has since been lovingly preserved and passed down through generations. Producing enormous, meaty beefsteaks with a rich, smooth flavour, these tomatoes are low in acidity, making them perfect for fresh eating or slow-cooked for authentic pasta sauces. A rare taste of the Mediterranean, steeped in tradition and bursting with flavour.

The neighbor's story behind these seeds is what made me try them, and the vines are already thriving in my garden. The plants are vigorous and setting fruit earlier than I expected for an heirloom.
