The 4.9mm weave is tight enough to keep even the smallest birds out, yet the netting still lets plenty of light and rain through. I've had it over my blueberry bushes for a week now and haven't seen a single possum track.

I draped this over my lemon tree and the possums haven't touched a single fruit since. The 4.9mm weave is tight enough to keep birds out but still lets plenty of sunlight through.

Our apricot tree finally got a full harvest this year — the possums couldn't even get a sniff through the 4.9mm weave. The black color disappears against the branches so it doesn't ruin the look of the garden, and at 30gsm it's light enough to drape without any fuss.
