Arguably the most famous of all the oaks. It is a large spreading tree, which is very long lived - think of the 1,000-year-old Major Oak in Sherwood Forest! It is one of Europe's most valuable timber trees.

Matthew ★★★★★

Planted this English oak sapling last spring and it's already doubled in height — the root system was impressively developed for a bare-root tree. Can't wait to watch it grow into the kind of majestic specimen that'll outlast me by centuries.

Violet ★★★★★

The bare root arrived well-packed and healthy, already showing tiny new buds within two weeks of planting. Knowing it could one day grow into a massive, centuries-old tree like the Major Oak is incredible to think about.

Ava ★★★★★

The root ball was well-packed and the sapling looks incredibly healthy—can already see new growth on the branches. Excited to watch this English Oak mature over the years, knowing it could outlive me.
