A stunning form of achillea with variable flower colours held simultaneously on lofty stems to create a sunset of colour. Opening as fiery-orange and fading to yellow and lemon as the flowerheads age, the combination is highly appealing in most colour schemes and gardens. Also known as Milfoil or Yarrow, achilleas feature a clump of heavily dissected foliage and produce stunning flat-topped plate-like flowering umbels up to 10cm in diameter on long elegant stems to 60cm. An essential plant for our long summers, achilleas flower for two months and, if deadheaded as flowers age, will continue to flower well into autumn.

Lucy ★★★★★

The way each stem carries a mix of fiery orange and soft yellow blooms at once is just gorgeous—makes the whole border look like a warm sunset.

Timothy ★★★★★

I planted these in a sunny border and the tall stems create a lovely layered effect as the older blooms fade to soft yellow while new ones stay fiery orange.

James ★★★★★

The color shift from orange to pale yellow is exactly as described, and the stems are tall enough to stand out beautifully in my mixed border. Already cut a few for a vase and they’ve lasted over a week without drooping.
