Shallot 'Roderique' F1

The flavor is so much more refined than any onion I've grown—delicate, almost sweet, like a proper chef's shallot. Harvested a solid bunch and they're still firm in the pantry two months later, which says a lot for storing quality. Even the smaller bulbs pack that rich taste I was after.

I started these indoors in early spring, and the bulbs have been forming nicely with a noticeably delicate, mild flavor compared to the onions I usually grow. Even after a few months in storage, they’re still firm and haven’t sprouted.

Harvested my first batch yesterday and the flavor is noticeably more delicate and refined than standard onions. Really impressed with how well they're storing in the pantry so far.
