베르게니아 '윈터 글로우'

The flowers held up beautifully in a vase for over a week, which I didn't expect from a shade-loving ground cover. It's already filling in nicely under my old maple tree where nothing else would grow.

Planted these in the shadiest corner of the yard where nothing else would take, and they've filled in beautifully as a ground cover. The leaves have that nice deep winter glow even now, and the poor soil didn't bother them one bit.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this handled my heavy clay soil—it’s filled in the shady corner nicely. The cut flowers lasted over a week in a small vase, which is a nice bonus. Only minor complaint is that it took a bit longer to establish than I expected.
