サルビア・アフリカナ-ルテア

These soft yellow buds opening to rust-brown blooms have been a constant surprise in my garden since I planted them. They truly do flower year-round here, just as described.

Was thrilled to find a salvia that actually lives up to the promise of non-stop blooms—mine has been flowering since early spring without any sign of slowing down. The way the rust-brown flowers emerge from those soft yellow buds is a really beautiful contrast.

I’ve had this salvia for a few months now and it really does keep sending up those rust-brown flowers even as the weather cools. The soft yellow buds before they open are a nice contrast. Only wish the description mentioned how fast it spreads in the garden.
