セージ 'ベルガルテン'

The leaves on this Berggarten are massive—some easily 10cm long—and the grey-green color is gorgeous. I’ve already used a few in a roast chicken and the flavor is much stronger and more aromatic than the dried stuff. So glad I finally have a real culinary sage.

The leaves are enormous—almost double the size of my last sage plant—and the flavor is so much more robust for cooking. I've already used it in three dinners this week.

Planted this in my herb garden last month and the broad leaves are already perfect for stuffing under chicken skin before roasting. The woody stems give it a sturdy structure that handles our windy spot surprisingly well.
