Felco 171L Secateurs for Large Hands

I'm six-foot-three with thick fingers and most pruners leave my hand cramping after twenty minutes, but these grips actually let me work the whole afternoon without that pinch. The larger handle design makes all the difference when you're reaching into dense branches.

My hand usually cramps up with standard pruners after an hour, but the larger handles on this model let me grip naturally without straining. The cutting power on thick branches is impressive for how smoothly the blades glide through.

I was skeptical the grip would actually fit my XL glove size, but the handle really does give my fingers room to maneuver without cramping. The cutting force feels balanced and solid on thick branches, and the whole thing swings like it’s made to last.
