エキウム 'スター・オブ・マデイラ'

Those deep blue flower spikes are absolutely stunning against the variegated leaves, and it's been blooming non-stop since late spring. I've had so many neighbors stop to ask what it is.

The variegated foliage alone is worth it—those cream-edged leaves keep things interesting even before the blooms show up. But once the deep blue spikes open in spring, it’s easily the boldest thing in my border.

The deep blue flower spikes are even more vivid in person, and the variegated foliage stays interesting even when it's not blooming. I've had mine for a few weeks now and it's already doubled in size, making a real statement in the garden.
