I’ve already got a batch of jam going from the first fruit—it only needed a little sugar, just as described. The tree handles the heat without any fuss, and the evergreen leaves keep my yard from looking barren. Thrilled with how quickly it settled into our dry soil.

Planted this in a partly shady spot and it's thriving without any extra watering. I'm already thinking about trying to make jam from the fruit once it's established.

Jason ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

I've been making jam from the fruit each season and it's delicious with just a little sugar, exactly as described. The tree handles my dry, shady spot perfectly and stays green all year with no fuss.
