Pomodoro 'Mortgage Lifter' Biologico

Grew these out in my backyard and the flavor is incredible — that classic beefsteak tang with just the right sweetness. The seeds sprouted faster than I expected, and each plant is loaded with fruit. Definitely worth the hype for anyone who loves a solid slicing tomato.

These seedlings are already twice the size of my other tomato varieties planted the same day. I love knowing there's a real story behind the name—Charlie selling plants to pay off his mortgage is the kind of history I want in my garden.

I was skeptical about the story behind these seeds, but the beefsteak tomatoes they produced were absolutely massive and flavorful. Each plant gave me more than enough to share with neighbors. Well worth the wait for a true heirloom.
