Oignon nouveau 'Rouge'

The bulbs are already showing that brilliant crimson color after just a few weeks in the ground. I tried slicing one young into a salad and the flavor was noticeably milder than regular green onions.

Planted these about six weeks ago and the crimson bulbs are exactly as pictured, though I’ve been pulling them young to slice into salads. The whole plant is usable, which makes thinning less wasteful. Would’ve liked a few more seeds in the packet, but germination was solid.
