After a surprising light frost last week, my 'Red Lady' barely flinched while everything else looked sad—that cold tolerance is no joke. The first fruit was small but unbelievably sweet with that signature melting texture, exactly what I hoped for from a potted tree.

Lucy ★★★★★

Planted this dwarf papaya in a large pot on my patio, and it's already putting out new leaves despite a few chilly nights. The self-pollinating flowers are a huge plus for small-space gardening. Can't wait to taste those sweet, melting fruits.

Scarlett S. ★★★★★

The potted 'Red Lady' settled in quickly on my patio, and the dwarf size is perfect for the corner I gave it. The self-pollinating flowers are a huge plus—I didn't have to fuss with a second tree, and the fruit's flesh is genuinely sweet and melting. Cold tolerance was the real test, and it sailed t
