Those 15cm blooms are genuinely show-stopping; I counted five open at once and they looked like soft blue dinner plates against the fence. Pruning is foolproof since it flowers on both old and new wood, so I just tidy it in late winter and it’s still covered from spring through autumn.

Those 15cm double blue blooms are absolutely stunning against my trellis, and I love that it reblooms from spring right through autumn. It’s a vigorous grower but easy to keep in check with a light prune each year.
