The winter orange flowers popped up just a few weeks after planting, which was a nice surprise. This succulent has held up beautifully in my dry garden bed with almost no extra care.

Those blue-green leaves are such a unique color, they really stand out in my dry garden bed. I can't wait to see the orange flowers this winter—the contrast is going to be stunning.

The orange flowers started popping in late winter and they’re still going strong, which is exactly the pop of color I wanted against the blue-green leaves. It’s already clumping nicely in my dry garden bed, so I’m expecting a solid border by next season.
