Zinnie 'Red Spider'

I planted these in a sunny spot and by mid-summer the spider-like red blooms were absolutely non-stop, creating that dramatic impact I was hoping for. The flowers really do look just like the description promised.

The germination rate on these was fantastic — nearly every seed sprouted within a week. Now my garden beds are absolutely packed with those dramatic, bright red spider blooms that look like they're from another century.

These spider-like red blooms are exactly what my garden needed—they’ve been flowering constantly since mid-summer even in the afternoon heat. Having a zinnia with such a long documented history feels special, and the dramatic shape really stands out among my other flowers.
