Sonnenhut 'Magnus Superior'

The dark carmine-pink petals on these have a beautiful velvety texture, and I love how the centers are a distinct bronze cone rather than the usual yellow. They've been blooming steadily for weeks now with very little fuss.

Planted these last spring and the bronze cone centers are even more dramatic than the photos suggested—they've been blooming nonstop since July. The deep carmine-pink petals really hold their color even in full afternoon sun.

I was blown away by how striking the bronze cone centers look against the dark carmine-pink petals—much more dramatic than in the photos. They've been blooming nonstop since I planted them, and the slightly recurved shape gives each flower such an elegant, refined silhouette.
