Blooms have been nonstop since I put it in a sunny spot by the driveway, and it shrugged off a week of 95-degree heat without any droop. The fact that each flower stem stays a solid 12 inches makes for a really striking display.

The flower spikes on this salvia are incredibly long—easily 12cm each—and they’ve been blooming nonstop since early spring despite me forgetting to water for weeks. It survived a light frost last month without any damage at all.

Planted these in a spot that gets blasted by afternoon sun and forgets I water them, yet they’re putting out those skinny purple flower stems like crazy. The drought tolerance is no joke, they’ve been blooming since late spring and show no signs of stopping.
