عشبة الملح 'الرجل العجوز'

My clay soil patch is finally looking good thanks to this saltbush; it’s already putting out new silver growth after just a couple weeks. I love that I don’t have to baby it with water, and the leaves are a nice bonus for cooking.

I planted this in a sandy, salty spot where nothing else would grow, and it's thriving. The silver foliage looks beautiful against my other plants, and I love that I can use it in cooking.

My clay soil patch has killed everything I've thrown at it, but this silver beauty is thriving three months in with zero extra watering. The foliage has that soft, dusty texture that looks great even when everything else is crispy.
