Coconut String 50m

Bought this for garden tying and it’s surprisingly sturdy for being handmade—the fibers hold knots well without fraying. Knowing it’s made by a women-owned fair-trade group in Sri Lanka makes it feel even better to use.

The rope has a nice, natural grip to it that made knotting it for my garden trellis really easy, and a full 50 meters gives you plenty of room to work. Knowing it’s handmade by a women’s fair-trade group makes it feel extra solid.

I needed some strong twine for my garden trellis and this 50m coconut string is holding up great against the weather. The handmade quality is obvious—each strand feels consistent and there's a nice natural texture to it.
