The blades came out of the box razor sharp—cleanly snipped through a 20mm branch without any crushing. Handles feel solid and lock securely, which makes a difference when you're working for an hour straight.

I was pruning my overgrown rose bushes today and these cut through branches close to the 23mm limit without any effort at all. The blades are incredibly sharp right out of the box.

My hydrangea stems were way too thick for my old kitchen scissors, but these bypass pruners handled them cleanly without crushing the wood. The cut is so smooth and sharp that the plant looks like it was done by a pro. Now I actually look forward to deadheading.
