أبوتيلون 'فانوس صيني صغير'

Planted these in a partially shaded corner last spring and the buttery yellow lantern-shaped flowers have been blooming nonstop ever since. The compact size fits perfectly in my small garden bed without taking over.

I was worried about finding a spot with enough shade, but this compact little shrub has been thriving under my porch. The lantern-like blooms really do appear nonstop from spring into fall, adding such a cheerful pop of color.

The buttery yellow and peach blooms really pop against the green leaves, and it’s stayed compact without any fuss since I tucked it into a spot with afternoon shade. Nice to finally find a lantern shrub that doesn’t sprawl out of control.
